Scientists at Work!

Take a look at our budding scientists!

We had an action-packed week during our FOSS Fabric Science unit.

Some activities included:

  • making a fabric collage
  • taking apart burlap and wool
  • weaving with yarn
  • sewing
  • dyeing fabric
  • checking the absorbency of various fabrics
  • staining fabric with ketchup, toothpaste, chocolate and jelly
  • testing various methods of stain removal

Look! We can sew!

Will we get these stains out?
